Information we store
Snipflux stores your account details, snippets, folders, labels, workspace memberships, invitations, and session information so the service can work.
How we use it
We use this information to provide, maintain, and secure Snipflux, process account requests, and support shared workspaces.
Service providers
Mailgun processes transactional emails such as password resets and team invitations. Stripe processes subscription payments and billing details. Snipflux does not store full card details.
Cookies and sessions
Snipflux uses an essential session cookie to keep you signed in and protect account actions. It is not used for advertising.
Browser extension and desktop app
The Snipflux clients store your sign-in token, settings, and a local copy of your synced snippets on your device. Your password is sent securely when you sign in and is not stored by the clients. Snippet usage records identify the snippet and client type, but do not include the page you were visiting or the text around the insertion.
The Chrome extension requests access to browser pages so it can detect your shortcuts and insert snippets in editable fields. It does not sell data, use it for advertising, or collect your browsing history. Snipflux's use and transfer of information received through Chrome extension permissions complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention and security
We keep information while your account is active and as needed for security, billing, legal, and backup purposes. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your data
You can update your profile in Snipflux or ask us to access, correct, or delete account data by emailing [email protected].
